After all these years, church is still the best place to go whatever the life situation is.

I'm glad I'm living in the year when the church would celebrate it's 95th year.

Happy anniversary and may God continue to bless us everyday.

July 27, 2009 - Special Non-working holiday

First it was a simple holiday, now it's special and yet nobody's happy. I thought it was a Iglesia ni Cristo day - which is the day the church celebrate its 95th year, which is now under the leadership of Bro. Erano G. Manalo.

In each region, there is designated place where the brethren will meet and celebrate for the special mass. This place will surely be overwhelm with the number of brethren that would attend the celebration.

What I don't understand are:
1.) Why did the Malacanang redeclared the day as Special non-working day?
2.) Sona on the same day, why?

I pray that Someone up there would give us a good day and without any untoward incident.

May God, bless us on that day. And yes, I'm a member of that church.

BTW, let's just stop listening to the one who had said this:

"kung pgbibigyn daw ang holiday ng INC dapat daw lahat na ay meron din. kaya raw holiday ang July 27 ay dahil maraming boto ang Iglesia?" - dj china heart, what a pathetic animal...

And I was happy reading this one:

Lost Nokia E51 - Part 2

I've thought of reporting my lost cellphone to the proper authority so I start calling my mobile csr. Globe's CSR is good they immediately responded to my call. Unfortunately, they don't have authority to block my sim and phone, so they point me to NTC.

2 days I've been calling this number: 9267722 (NTC), it ring sometimes busy but no reply. And when I finally got a response all the CSR said was "Please go to our office at QC". I'm from Alabang anyway, and it's about 2hours ride from here I think plus I should go there on weekdays (Is there any other way? I have all the documents, I can xerox it or fax it to them). It seems this office is outdated for they can't handle online transaction.

Furthermore, I'm a programmer so I searched the possibility of changing phone's IMEI. And I was surprised to know that Nokia S60 is software base and there are many softwares available to change the IMEI. And in addition to that if you go to the malls, sidewalks there are many phone station that offers IMEI change (Isn't it supposed to be illegal - knowing that a phone is block means it was reported to the NTC). But anyway, even I can change my IMEI.

So to whoever got my phone, I know you are a lowly creature that doesn't have any conscience at all. Just throw my sim card away and have an eternal happy life in HEAVEN OR HELL (you've decided where...).

Lost my Nokia e51 phone

Last Tuesday night (2009.06.23), on my way to a certain mall to get my laundry it seems my phone slipped to my pocket when I get my coin purse. I lost it... I tried calling but it seemed the kind-hearted tricycle driver immediately pulled out the sim card or turned off the phone, it was out of coverage area. But last night one of my friend had successfully called it, so I tried again it rung but no answer. Then again I called it again and it was off again.

So you see, there are lots of kind-hearted animals out there. So be aware, in time of depression always stay alert so you will not get more depressed :-). Now, how should I respect those tricycle drivers, maybe I will just take a jeep ride or buy my own car haha.

I'm not expecting to get my phone back, but I hope that animal will not use it to call my friends. So friends please disregard any message you received from my old globe number: 09277971914.

I wonder if this animal will go straight to hell...

BTW, I got my new E51 phone (it still cost a lot - so losing a phone is costly :-)). To my friends, I still use my old smart number so you can contact me there. If you want globe just ask me in my smart :D.

I've read about the news this morning a confirmed case of H1N1 in the Philippines: https://abs-cbnnews.com/nation/05/21/09/duque-confirms-first-case-h1n1-rp.

Unfortunately, no further information is given. Why? I think it's logical to tell the people all the information regarding this case, since it's very sensitive. What if the relatives of this infected is just blocks away from your house. How can you take action...

I just hope it will not bloom like what is happening in Japan today, it's a nation strict in its cleanliness policy but still it was unable to dodge this virus.

Globe wireless broadband Victoria, Laguna

Finally, after a long wait I have an internet connection in my home town Victoria, Laguna. It was Globe Wireless Broadband by Globe and since we are near the tower I don't have any problem with speed. I got myself 512kbps ZTE device for php995/month. Well I can say that I am satisfied but I hope I can get the php799/month service :-). But unfortunately the only available is the first one.

So here I am blogging :-), yey :-). I thank globe for finally setting a wireless internet service here unlike PLDT which we've asked several times if they can plug us a DSL and they simply replied "NO". :-).

I think I'm ready to work at home (freelancer/programmer) or maybe establish myself a business here, which I'm already doing. I just hope I'll not bump into some problem in the future :-).
